Publish in an archival journal. Present at the IEEE Photonics Conference.
One paper, two opportunities to share your research! Authors of papers accepted to either the IEEE Photonics Technology Letters (PTL)or the IEEE Photonics Journal (PJ), can present their work at the 2018 IEEE Photonics Conference (IPC) in Reston, VA, USA. No need to craft a separate conference paper – simply submit and present your completed work as is!
The Publish to Present process works as follows:
As part of the process flow for finalizing accepted PTL or PJ manuscripts, authors will have the opportunity to indicate their interest in presenting their paper at IPC in October.
Those authors who check “yes” will receive specific instructions for submitting their paper to the conference paper site.
Once an accepted PTL or PJ paper is submitted to the conference, it will be verified by Photonics staff and tentatively scheduled by the Program Committee in June for presentation at IPC.
As the final step in the process, participating authors will be required to confirm their intent to present AND register for the conference.
To be eligible, all accepted journal papers must be submitted to the IPC conference paper submission site between 19 February and 16 April.
