Registration for technical sessions is open to all members of the scientific and technical community. It is incumbent on the authors to obtain appropriate approval to present their work to this international forum. The conference’s general information and registration hours can be found here: IPC 2018 General Information Reg Hours 

The registration fee includes:

• Admission to the conference
• All coffee breaks
• IPC Awards Banquet Dinner (Monday) for the attendee only
• Student/Young Professionals Poster Session & Reception (Wednesday) for the attendee only
• One copy of the final program, and access to the Conference Digest

Pre-Registration:

Early registration deadline: 30 August 2018, after 30 August onsite rates will apply.

Pre-registration for IPC is not required but is strongly encouraged.

*Student and Post Doc/Recent Graduate Member Registration Fees:

A valid Student ID is required at Registration Check-in.  Post Doc Member rates require verification from Supervisor at Registration Check-in.
IEEE Photonics Society defines a Recent Graduate Member as a Photonics Society member who is within a 3-year time period of receiving their last degree.

Refund Policy for Pre-registration:

To request a refund, please send a letter stating the pre-registrant’s name and the payment amount. There is a non-refundable service charge of $50 for processing refunds.

Requests for pre-registration refunds must be received by 30 August 2018. No requests for refunds will be accepted after this date.

Reduced Registration Fees:

In an effort to assist any who would like to attend the IEEE Photonics Conference 2018, the Photonics Society is now offering reduced registration fees based on World Bank country classifications. The World Bank uses four categories according to each country’s gross national income per capita: High income, upper middle income, lower middle income and low income. Starting with high income countries and assigning a number N=0 through 3 to each category, a reduction of 25xN % will be applied for any registrant from a given country.

If you would like to take advantage of the reduced registration fee program, please go to the World Bank website at http://www.worldbank.org/en/country and locate your country’s classification. Calculate your reduction.

However, technical session presentations are the sole property of the presenter and not considered part of the conference proceedings.
