Student & Young Professionals Travel Grants

The IEEE Photonics Society is providing travel grant opportunities to encourage early career participation at the IEEE Photonics Conference, in Rome, Italy from November 10-14, 2024.

Submitting a paper to IPC 2024 is not required, but encouraged. There also isn’t a limit to how many student chapter volunteers can apply from one chapter. However, each application requires individual responses. Recipients from developing nations or in additional financial need may receive a complimentary registration upon review.

Please contact Lisa Sandt and/or Lauren Mecum, if you have any questions or concerns about the application process. The deadline to apply for the below grants is: July 30, 2024.

The IEEE Photonics Society is committed to providing equal opportunity to all scientists and engineers, inclusive of ethnicity, race, nationality, disability, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, religion, gender, age, and/or personal identity. All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.
